As those of you who follow me on the ‘Gram may know, I recently launched a “Coming-Out” video series on YouTube. I did so at the specific request of scores of deeply closeted gay and bisexual men of colour (mostly of Indian origin), who reached out to me via social media – many of them seeking guidance on how (of if at all) to come out to their socially conservative parents and families.
To that end, the YouTube playlist consists of 7 video essays that chronicle my own personal coming-out journey at key punctuation points, with a Part 1 introductory primer to set the tone and tenor for the rest.
